Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to describe the characteristic of manggis supply chain in Kenagarian Sungai Talang, 50 Kota district and to analyze the performance of manggis supply chain by farmer’s groups in Kenagarian Sungai Talang, 50 Kota district. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling.The sample was taken 50 % consist of 22 farmers, one head of farmer’s group, one merchant, one middleman in Sicincin sub district and one merchant from Jakarta City. The research results showed thatthe structure ofmanggissupply chain in Kenagarian Sungai Talang is starting from farmers - farmer’s group - merchant- middleman in Sicincin sub district and merchant in jakarta. The three flow of supply chain are flow of goods, flow of money and flow of information. The performance of supply chain reliabilty is 30,60, the performance of supply chain responsivness is 11.5 day, and the value of supply chain cost is 1.21 and the results of the calculation critical key indicator is 0,681.
