KONTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN USAHA TERNAK SAPI POTONG PADA PROGRAM SARJANA MEMBANGUN DESA (SMD) TERHADAP PENDAPATA RUMAHTANGGA PETERNAK DI KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the profile farming of beef cattle on SMD program at the South Coastal District, (2) determine the amount of revenue from the program farming cattle ranchers SMD obtained, and (3) determine the amount of donations (contributions) income from beef cattle in the SMD program on household income farmers in the South Coastal District. The number of research samples are 72 farmers. The dataprimary and secondary data was used in this research. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.  The results showed that farming profile SMD beef cattle in the program include: the implementation of the SMD program at the South Coastal District has not been based on criteria such as technical instructions SMD assistance which has not been performing its duties and functions set out in the technical guidance of SMD. In addition, technical application of beef cattle in maintenance farming SMD program based on the five farming. The average income from beef cattle farming SMD program is Rp 4,696,304, -/farmer/year with R / C ratio of 1.63. Contribution is equal to 23,64 percent of total household income, including rancher and typology sideline business.
